This is one of them. This Senior Architect role is based in Sydney.

An established, design-led architecture practice with a strong track record across industrial and commercial sectors is stepping into Sydney in a serious way. Not testing the waters. Not a soft launch. They already have projects underway and momentum building. Now they need the right person to take ownership of it on the ground.

This is not a “Senior Architect” role in the traditional sense.

This is the opportunity to become the face of a new office.

You would be working directly with interstate Directors who have built a credible, growing practice. They will be present, involved, and invested in getting this right. But day-to-day, this is your domain. Your develop relationships. Your develop projects. You are not stepping into someone else’s shoes. You are shaping the office.

The work is grounded in industrial and commercial projects. Real projects. Built work. Clients who need delivery, not just ideas. The pipeline is there, and it is growing. As it grows, so does the expectation that you will build a team around you. Carefully. Intentionally. With people you trust.

For the right person, this is a shift from execution to ownership.

You might already be operating at a senior level but finding the ceiling is getting closer. Limited influence. Limited say. Limited upside. Or perhaps you are already leading projects and mentoring people, but without the recognition or autonomy that should come with it.

This role changes that.

You will need to be comfortable wearing more than one hat. Leading projects. Managing clients. Setting direction. Making decisions. Being accountable and hands on in this Revit using practice. It will suit someone who enjoys that level of responsibility and sees it as an opportunity rather than a burden. In return, you step into something with genuine long-term potential.
